The Media's Coverage of Jeremiah Wright is Wrong
If Barack Obama's sole relationships and associations were with the likes of Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers, then and only then might the media's overboard attempts to radicalize the Illinois Senator and would-be President, fueled by the gurus of right wing talk radio's call for greater scrutiny, show some legitimacy. But that is simply not the case. If Obama were indeed the wolf in sheep's clothing they suggest, it would not take such a stretch of the imagination for his years of public service would have afforded ample occasions for such a revelation to show itself. I, for one, am tired of the distraction from a discussion of the real problems and issues we face. Be careful though, media. There is an intelligent segment of the electorate out there who realizes that you see the prospects of a Democratic party slugfest this summer playing out with more interest than Barack Obama's attempts to break from the politics of old. Your reporting is a blatent attempt to breathe wind in the sails of such a scenario. Shame on you!
